Each year, our club makes a sizeable donation from a portion of our Annual Show proceedsto a miniature-related charitable organzation. Past recipients have included the Delaware Ronald McDonald house, (where the club maintains a dollhouse for children who stay there), The Delaware Art Museum, (hos tof the annual Masterpieces in Miniature exhibition), and N.A.M.E. (National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts), our club's parent organization.
Each year, the Festival of Trees raises significant funds to support Delaware Hospice's programs and services in the community, thanks to the generosity of local individuals and businesses.
FSMC members get together at our September meeting to share supplies, and decorate several miniature trees with varying themes to be donated to this annual event. Trees are brought back to the October meeting to be delivered to the Delaware Hospice for their event. Visit www.delawarehospice.org for more details.

Make-n-Take WORKSHOPS
FSMC hosts a free make-n-take miniature workshop for families during the Museum's annual Masterpieces In Miniature Exibition. The 2011 workshop will be held on December 11 at the Delaware Art Museum.
